Online Undergraduate Applicants

If you’re interested in pursuing an online bachelor’s degree at McNeese, you’re considered an undergraduate student. Before you start your application, find out more about what bachelor’s degree programs are offered 100% online here.

Application Steps

Submit your official ACT or SAT scores to McNeese directly from the testing agency. McNeese’s ACT school code is 1594 and SAT school code is 6403.
Submit your high school transcripts directly to McNeese. If you attended any college courses while enrolled in high school, submit transcripts from those institutions as well
Home schooled students: Submit a copy of your home school transcripts and Home School State Approval letter.
Out-of-state high school students: Have your high school submit your transcript to McNeese, and then your final transcript after you graduate.
After You Apply
Pay a nonrefundable $20 application fee after you receive notification that your application has been processed.
Submit Proof of Immunization Compliance Form.
(Males ages 18-25) Submit proof of selective service registration.
(Optional) Apply for financial aid and scholarships at fafsa.gov. McNeese’s FAFSA school code is 002017.
(Optional) Apply for on-campus housing at www.mcneesereslife.com.
(Optional) Purchase a commuter or residence campus dining meal plan at https://mcneesedining.sodexomyway.com/en-us/. Graduate Online

Online Graduate Students

If you have already earned a bachelor’s degree and are interested in pursuing a master’s degree or other professional certification online, then you’re considered to be a graduate student. Find out more about what master’s degree programs and professional certifications are offered 100% online.

Note: Admission to Graduate School does not imply admission to a specific graduate degree program. Different programs may have different GPA, GRE, GMAT, letter of recommendation, or other prerequisite requirements for acceptance. Make sure to check your desired program’s page for additional admission criteria.

Application Steps

Submit official transcripts directly to McNeese from all institutions attended.
If applicable, submit official GRE or GMAT test scores (no more than five years old) directly from the testing agency to McNeese.
After You Apply
Pay $20 application fee once you receive email notification with your McNeese ID number.

Ashley Bass

I am a McNeese graduate with a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Science and a concentration in Child and Family Studies. As a student, I competed on the rodeo team and served on the SGA board. I earned my master’s degree in 2022 from the University of South Dakota in Educational Administration and Leadership with a concentration in Adult and Higher Ed. I have over 13 years of experience in adult education and 20 years of educational experience.

My favorite part of being a Freshman Advisor is helping students navigate their new life routine as a college freshman by offering support with in-person office visits or by email to help students meet their goals. I always remind students of my favorite BB King quote – “Education is one thing no one can ever take away from you.”  I believe that supporting students is vital to a student's success.

In my spare time, I raise registered American Brahman cattle, and I enjoy all the "country girl" things like hunting, fishing, growing a garden and cooking.
